Does Sonata Really Work?

Sonata is a sedative that works by affecting the chemicals in your brain that become unbalanced thereby producing sleeping issues such as restless sleep and insomnia. The idea behind Sonata’s chemistry is that the body can only achieve sleep through relaxation. This product is not recommended for those who cannot immediately lie down and take a long rest, four hours is the minimum given.

There is no doubt that Sonata can be an effective tool against sleeplessness. Still there are a myriad of health concerns affiliated with this drug. Sonata is not recommended for those who are allergic to zaleplon. It is strongly urged that before taking this medication, you tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or talk to the physician about your liver disease, sleep apnea (breathing stops while you are asleep), lung disease such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), history of depression, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts, or history of drug or alcohol addiction.

Due to the nature of Sonata there is the chance that your thinking and reactions may be impaired. It is recommended that you do not drive or operate heavy machinery while taking this drug. There have even been reports of those who have driven, eaten and made phone calls while under the influence of Sonata and later had no recollection of these events. Given the concerns associated with Sonata it is best that this product is only taken when the insomnia is severe enough to warrant the possible negative reactions.
